Calibration Standards (Groups)

The CCS products (CCS-1, CCS-2, etc.) found in the 69 element group below are all suitable for use in AAS applications. “CCS” and “CMS”, both refer to complete calibration sets, the difference being that the CCS products are designed for ICP-OES applications, and the CMS products as found in the 65 element group, are designed for ICP-MS applications. This difference is illustrated by the higher concentrations for the CCS standards, as ICP-OES is less sensitive than ICP-MS.

The 71 element group is a good option for general screening. Semi-quantitative analysis is used as a screening technique to provide qualitative information (elements present) as well as a rough estimate of concentration (typically within ~30%). Our 71 Element Group (IV-ICPMS-71A, IV-ICPMS-71B, IV-ICPMS-71C, IV-ICPMS-71D, MSLI-10PPM, and MSHG-10PPM) provides coverage for most of the periodic table for a semi-quantitative analysis.

All Multi-Element Standards manufactured by Inorganic Ventures use high-purity starting materials and are produced in accordance with our stringent Quality Assurance guidelines.

ICP Calibration Standards are viable for the following elements:
